The SUCCESS Sigil
THE SUCCESS SIGIL
Many practitioners like to work with "folding money," that is, paper money that is folded and placed in a wallet. "Hunting money," AKA "trained money," is dollars or other bills inscribed with symbols, words, and phrases that both create a link to the practitioner and provide magical instruction for the money.
For example, many practitioners will write their name under that of the Treasurer's, and will also initial the bills with "RTM," short for "Return To Me." This simple directive tells the bill to return to the spender and to also bring back more money with it.
Writing short bits of scripture is another popular option, for example, Proverbs 8:18, "Riches and honor are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness."
While yet another frequently used inscription is the classic SUCCESS sigil—a corruption of the letters in the word "success" wherein the vowels are dropped, and the consonant letters are changed to dollar and cent symbols. You may note the addition of another $ symbol that makes the created word a palindrome, which are, in and of themselves, considered lucky.
The money may also be dressed with prosperity-drawing oils and powders, in a particular pattern, and then laid upon an altar, or under a large lodestone, until it is later spent only on items of necessity.
